Put JPG images on US Letter PDF pages

Create a US Letter PDF from images with deliberate orientation and margins for a Letter-based printing workflow.

Choose this workflow when a recipient specifies US Letter, not simply because a person lives in a particular country. Letter measures 8.5 × 11 inches and differs from A4. Selecting the correct size in the converter avoids relying on a printer to scale an A4 file later, which can change apparent text size.

Follow this workflow

  1. Select the images in JPG to PDF. If a camera saved a different format, export a JPG or PNG copy before adding it.
  2. Set Page size to US Letter. Set a fixed orientation if the recipient requires every page to use the same orientation.
  3. Choose a small or large margin and inspect the page edges. Reorder or rotate image cards before starting conversion.
  4. Download and open the PDF in a viewer. Confirm Letter in page properties, then check the print preview on the actual target printer.

Check the downloaded result

  • Page size is Letter rather than A4.
  • Small labels remain readable at the intended printed size.
  • No receipt or signature is hidden by a page edge.

When to use another export method

Changing paper size is a layout decision, not image enhancement. Small source photos will not gain detail, and conversion does not perform OCR.

Should I choose Letter or A4?

Use the size required by the recipient or printer. There is no need to create two versions unless both paper sizes are actually needed.
