How it works

One image per PDF page, including text and graphics.

Embedded images

Extract raster images at their decoded native dimensions.

Extraction does not export vector drawings or standalone stencil masks, and does not preserve page layout, clipping or placement. Repeated images are saved once per page. No page-image fallback.

Choose clarity, not guesswork

JPG uses lossy compression. Choose PNG for lossless pixel encoding. Neither format restores detail missing from the source or preserves editable PDF text.

Safety limits: 100 MB per PDF, 24 million pixels per image and 256 MB of output per job. Oversized jobs stop with an explanation; resolution is never reduced automatically.
