Put JPG images on A4 PDF pages

Make a printable A4 PDF from JPG or PNG images with a consistent page size and visible margins.

Use this workflow when a printer or recipient asks for A4 pages rather than photo-sized pages. A4 fixes the paper size at 210 × 297 mm; it does not improve the resolution of the source photograph. A wide photograph on a portrait page will leave unused space because keeping the full image and filling every edge are different goals.

Follow this workflow

  1. Add JPG or PNG files and remove duplicates before converting. Files are processed in the browser; a local selection does not upload the photos.
  2. Choose A4 in Page size. Choose Portrait if all sheets must face the same way; Auto can orient pages differently for portrait and landscape images.
  3. Choose a margin and inspect the preview. Rotate a sideways source image using its card control, then drag the cards into reading order.
  4. Convert and open the downloaded PDF. Check its page size and use the printer’s preview to decide between actual size and fit to printable area.

Check the downloaded result

  • Page properties show A4 dimensions, with width and height exchanged only for landscape pages.
  • The last line, signature and any content near the edge remain visible.
  • The PDF page count matches the selected image count.

When to use another export method

The converter cannot restore blurred text or promise borderless printing. Printer hardware and driver settings still determine the printable area.

Does A4 stretch the picture?

The image is fitted to the available page area. If its aspect ratio differs from the page, unused space is expected; inspect the preview before exporting.
