Frequently Asked Questions
Is rotating PDFs with PDFPilot really free?
Yes. Rotate PDF is completely free to use, with no sign-up or account required.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. All PDF rotation happens entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to PDFPilot's servers.
Can I rotate individual pages differently from the rest?
Yes. Click a page's own rotate buttons to rotate just that page, or use "Rotate All" to apply the same rotation to every page at once — useful when only a few pages of a scanned document came out sideways.
Will rotating my PDF affect its quality?
No. Rotating a PDF only changes each page's orientation metadata — the underlying text, images, and formatting are untouched, so there's no quality loss.
Do I need to install any software to rotate PDFs?
No installation is required. Rotate PDF runs directly in your web browser.
