Can I choose which faces or areas to hide?
Detect faces in one or all images, then review the suggested areas. Add, move, resize, disable or delete any area manually. This tool finds face locations; it does not identify people or match a person's portrait across photos.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The detection model downloads from PDFPilot when needed and runs on your device. Image editing and downloads also stay in your browser. No account is needed.
What should I review before sharing?
Automatic detection can miss small, turned or obscured faces. Inspect every image and add missing areas. Soft blur and pixelation reduce detail but do not guarantee anonymity; solid cover replaces the selected pixels. Downloaded images contain the applied changes and no original metadata.
Which files are supported?
JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF (first frame) and BMP. Up to 20 images, 100MB each, 200MB combined and 20 megapixels per image. Export PNG, JPG or WEBP; batches download as a ZIP. Animated input is not preserved.
